Earth Day Cleanup and Invasive Plant Removal

Headwaters Trails along with The Blue Heron Headwaters Conservancy is sponsoring a service day to clean up trash and remove invasive plants at Holly Township’s Shiawassee Park. The Shiawassee Park is 38 acres of land with access on Fish Lake Road, between the Railroad Tracks and the Shiawassee River. We are inviting the public to come out to help with this work in an effort to improve the park and build trails within the park. It is across the river from the new launch built by Headwaters Trails, that will be open to the public once the county grants a permit in the spring.

There will be people there to show you what to do and provide tools to do the job. A sack lunch will be provided to those who RSVP.
